Licensed Vocational Nurse-PPAP
Patient Pharmaceutical Assistance Program (PPAP) LVN (Posted 4/20/11)
The PPAP Licensed Vocational Nurse is an integral member of the Medical Affairs team and reports to the Director of Medical Affairs and Chief Operating Officer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform office support for patients who are enrolled in pharmaceutical assistance program
- Work with clinicians to identify and qualify patients for pharmaceutical assistance programs
- Work with the PPAP Care Coordinator to integrate new programs into our current system
- Act as resource for team members on PPAP process and inquires
- Work with clinicians and contribute with individual interventions related to the care plan or treatment plan
Requirements:
- A valid and current California Licensed Vocational Nurse license
- One year medical experience or equivalent
- Committed to customer service and customer satisfaction
- Ability to handle work with precision and accuracy
- Friendly, courteous and professional at all times
- Team player with a sense of purpose and fun
- Possess strong computer skills
- Bilingual English/Spanish
