Licensed Vocational Nurse-PPAP

Patient Pharmaceutical Assistance Program (PPAP) LVN (Posted 4/20/11)

The PPAP Licensed Vocational Nurse is an integral member of the Medical Affairs team and reports to the Director of Medical Affairs and Chief Operating Officer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform office support for patients who are enrolled in pharmaceutical assistance program
  • Work with clinicians to identify and qualify patients for pharmaceutical assistance programs
  • Work with the PPAP Care Coordinator to integrate new programs into our current system
  • Act as resource for team members on PPAP process and inquires
  • Work with clinicians and contribute with individual interventions related to the care plan or treatment plan

Requirements:

  • A valid and current California Licensed Vocational Nurse license
  • One year medical experience or equivalent
  • Committed to customer service and customer satisfaction
  • Ability to handle work with precision and accuracy
  • Friendly, courteous and professional at all times
  • Team player with a sense of purpose and fun
  • Possess strong computer skills
  • Bilingual English/Spanish
